In collaboration with The Seagull Theatre, Lowestoft, Messums Creative delivered six creative workshops in the community ahead of the opening of Messums East at the Old Post Office in Autumn 2026. LET'S SIT DOWN TOGETHER | HAND-BUILDING WORKSHOP WITH MIRKA GOLDEN-HANN In April 2025 a ‘Ceramics Pew Group’-inspired clay day, titled “Let’s Sit Down Together”, was delivered by Mirka Golden-Hann with the generous help of East Coast College, where the final clay pieces were fired.

Artist Kaori Kato was supported on a residency in the UK by Messums Creative in December 2025. During her five-day residency in Lowestoft, she delivered a series of workshops in the community.
